Queer Couples Photography in Denver — Inclusive, Affirming, and Real

Affirming photography for LGBTQ+ couples, partners, and chosen relationships — created with care, presence, and respect for how YOU love.

let's chat!

Relationships don’t all look the same — and they don’t need to.

If you’re here, you might be excited about documenting your relationship — and still unsure.

You may have worried about being misgendered, misunderstood, or asked to fit a traditional mold.
You might not see your relationship reflected in typical “couples photography.”

And the idea of posing or performing cookie-cutter intimacy may feel uncomfortable or inauthentic.

For queer, trans, and non-traditional relationships, being photographed comes with extra layers.

Visibility, safety, and trust matter deeply.

Thoughtful, affirming photo sessions for LGBTQ+ couples and expansive relationships, including poly, non-monogamous, and other chosen constellations.

We move at your pace.
We pay attention to what’s already there.
We make space for closeness, distance, laughter, quiet.

And you leave with images that feel settled, intimate, and true to the way you relate.

These sessions honor your real dynamic and make room for connection that feels true, safe, and respected.

The result is imagery rooted in authenticity, not expectation.

What if you could show up as you actually are — without performing or fitting a mold?

yes, I need this!

-Kara & Tay

Your relationship doesn’t need to be staged.

These sessions are guided simply and at an easy pace, with space to interact naturally rather than pose.

Your LGBTQ+ Relationship Photography Experience

01

Reach out

Our time together begins with a conversation.
This is where I get to know you and your relationship — how you connect, what feels meaningful, and anything you want me to be mindful of.
We’ll talk through ideas for the session and choose a setting that feels right, whether that’s a quiet in-home space, a familiar neighborhood, or somewhere that lets you breathe a little deeper. If you want the low-key session, feel free to book that here.

02

Session Time! - Fun and creative

You’ll be guided gently, with space to interact naturally within the time we have together.
There’s no pressure to perform or pose — you’re encouraged to connect the way you actually do, whether that looks playful, quiet, affectionate, or somewhere in between.
My approach is calm and unobtrusive, focusing on real moments as they unfold and documenting your connection as it naturally exists.

03

After your Session

Within three weeks of your session, you’ll receive your complete custom online gallery of photographs.
Each image is edited with care and intention, so what you receive feels cohesive, honest, and true to the experience we shared.
Your images are yours to keep, download, and share. I recommend printing them and placing them in your home/office to relive the happy vibes over and over again!

More about brody

I’m a queer non-binary photographer who understands that love doesn’t come in one format.

My work is grounded in respect for how people actually connect — romantically, emotionally, and relationally. I create space where you don’t have to explain or justify your relationship, and where everyone involved is treated with care.

I’m here to document your connection as it truly exists - in all its glory.

Hey, I'm Brody
(they/them)

get in touch

The world doesn’t always make space for queer joy.
Your story still deserves to be told.

Whether you’re a queer individual, a couple, or a family, I’m here to photograph you with compassion and care.

Are you ready to step into images that feel true?

faqs

Do you photograph weddings?

Absolutetly. My favorite kind of wedding is a mellow, backyard or chill elopement style wedding, but I am open to many different kind of queer love ceremonies/events. Feel free to reach out via the contact form to see if we may be a good fit for your big day!

What happens after I fill out the contact form?

I’ll personally read your message and respond within 24 hours.
You can expect a thoughtful reply with next steps, session options, and space to ask any questions.

I’m neurodivergent. Can photo sessions be adapted for that?

Yes. Neurodivergence is fully welcome here.
We can talk ahead of time about pacing, sensory needs, communication preferences, and what helps you feel most at ease. Sessions can be structured, flexible, quiet, or brief depending on what supports you best.

What should I wear?

Wear what helps you feel most like yourself.
Comfort and ease matter more than any specific look. Clothes you’ve felt good in before, simple layers, and easy movement tend to work well.

You don’t owe the camera a certain style or gender expression.
If you’d like, you’re welcome to bring several  options and we can decide together. This is another perk of at-home sessions- you have everything you need in your closet!

why does this feel vulnerable?

Being photographed can feel vulnerable — our brains are wired to scan for safety when we’re seen. We’ll move with care, check in often, and adjust the approach as needed.

You’re never expected to push through discomfort. My job is to encourage and reassure you that you are welcome to be yourself here - side notethis is the part I love the most because it can be so healing.

Can I bring a partner, friend, or support person?

Yes.
You’re welcome to bring someone who helps you feel more at ease. They can be present throughout the session or step in and out as needed — whatever feels most supportive to you.

Are all images really included?

Totally.
You’ll receive your online photo gallery that is thoughtfully edited and complete. There are no selections, upsells, or additional purchases. Your images are yours to keep.

Do you share images publicly?

Only with your permission.
Nothing is ever posted without a clear yes. If you’re open to it, I may reach out after you’ve seen your gallery to ask about sharing a few images — often to help other queer folks see themselves reflected and feel welcomed here. It’s always optional.
